After developing game prototypes for Kiloo during high school, I spent half a year as the only in-house tester at the company, building up the role and workflow with the dev teams. During my stay i worked on Dawnbringer, TankHeadz and Subway Surfers, with especially the last two titles being the main focus.
I helped create a quicker test and bug-fix verification workflow for the ongoing development of Subway Surfers. It was a new setup to ensure developers were not the ones verifying their own bug-fix worked out, so we could avoid multiple rounds of bug-fixing on the very tight two week release-schedule that Subway Surfers was on at the time.
The work on TankHeadz and Dawnbringer was less time-critical and more focused on repeating bug-reports from beta-users and external QA teams, to create reproducibility guides for developers.
